The georeferenced certificate is the document drawn up by the competent professional in the field of geomatics and topography that is required for the correct or updated registration in the land registry or cadastre. Nowadays, because of the Mortgage Law this document is necessary to justify the accuracy of the dimensions of the property.

This certificate with the georeferenced coordinates is drawn up and signed by topographical engineers and experts and includes a topographical plan showing the exact geometric location of the property.

The geo-referenced coordinates or geo-referenced certificate is a system of coordinates that allows to determine the exact position on the territory of the property, including also the surface and the shape. The certificate is made up of two types of information, literary information and graphic information.
